Are you looking for a PA school with hands-on welding training? Our Combination Welding program is specifically designed to teach you everything you need to know to obtain a career in your chosen field. Are you looking for electrician trade, carpentry, or construction schools? NCST provides programs in Building Technology, Electrical Technology, Heavy Equipment Operations with CDL, Machinist Technology, Refrigeration/AC Technology and Commercial Truck Driving, along with Commercial & Industrial Maintenance program.
New Castle School of Trades wants to help you find a new job by offering assistance in job placement as well as the necessary training required. Financial assistance and evening classes are offered to qualified students.
Automotive Technology: Develop the skills you need to enter the work force in an entry-level position as an Automotive Technician through our specially structured Automotive Technology program. Our program will train you to maintain, diagnose, and service all consumer vehicles.
Computer scanners, computerized automotive information systems, four-wheel computerized alignment machines, computerized wheel balancers, articulating arm tire machines, exhaust gas analyzers and brake lathes are just some of the equipment you'll have access to in our hands-on training labs.
Commercial Truck Driving: Start an exciting new career on the open road with one of the country's most needed fields - transportation!
The curriculum for Commercial Truck Driving has been designed by NCST and is one of the leading programs in the industry. Our program provides the qualifications necessary for a variety of entry-level positions for drivers of both open road and local route vehicles.
At NCST, there is great focus on the basics of trucks, both the industry and the driving. Students are also taught the basics of operating trucks and tractor-trailers. Prior experience or education in truck driving is not required although there are certain qualifications all candidates for NCST's programs must meet.
Individuals, who attend the 6-week Commercial Truck Driving program on weekdays, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, will be able to graduate in just about eight weeks. Once a student graduates, he or she will be able to proudly acquire a career as a tractor-trailer driver, delivery truck driver, van driver, and as much more. If weekend classes are more convenient, NCST offers the Commercial Truck Driving program on a 15-week part time basis.
