Technology of Automotive Services: Associate of Applied Science Degree

Once you obtain your Associate of Applied Science Degree, you will be prepared to examine, fix and maintain commercial vehicles, and you will also be able to pass the mandated tests to allow for certification, which the State of Michigan requires of all diesel mechanics and technicians. With this program you will be permitted to participate in courses like: electrical systems, diesel engines, and heavy-duty breaks and suspension, and many more in which the student can choose.

Diesel Service Technology: Certificate

Upon completion of the Diesel Service Technology program, you will receive a certification that allows you to successfully carry out duties on maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on medium to heavy-duty vehicles. You will learn all the requirements for the State of Michigan to certify these vehicles. In addition to certification and licensure areas chosen by the student, coursework will include diesel engines, heavy-duty brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.
