The Automotive / Diesel training is a combination of ASE/Ford-Plus and core requirements of the Diesel/Heavy Vehicle training. This training enables the student to have expertise in both automotive and diesel technologies upon graduation, giving the student the advantages of additional marketability and growth potential.

The shop at the Advanced Technology Institute is equipped with engines from 400 to 12,000 pounds, a several different types of manual and automatic transmissions, complete tractor-trailers, and a full-service fuel injection shop. There is a wealth of opportunities that can be very rewarding.

We offer training in Local/Regional/Over-the-Road driving with high-quality instruction in a small classroom setting. In a short amount of time you will be trained quickly and ready to be hired by thousands of employers. Tuition reimbursement and financing is available. Tractor-Trailer Commercial Driving students will need to have or be willing and able to obtain a valid Virginia Driver's License before starting classes.
